The winery David Sterza has a long tradition linked with vinification but it is effectively established in 1998.

Corvina grapes in David Sterza’s vineyards

David works with his cousin Paolo Mascanzoni, contributor and partner of the firm. They were selling high quality grapes to the wineries in Valpolicella, Italy. Paolo noticed potentiality of the grapes produced in their vineyards and enthusiastic character of the young man David and started to pressure him to produce own wines instead of just selling the grapes. David bought the idea and then David Sterza winery was born and is still run by David and Paolo.

David Sterza specialities are definitely intensive Ripasso, Amarone and also IGT wine Pagoda. Pagoda is produced using Amarone method (dried grapes) but from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz.
